      • Reading and comprehension scenario questions

Read the below scenario and then answer the following questions using the information provided.
      • Interviewer: So, you've applied for the warehouse trainee position, right?

        Jonah: Yes, I have.

Interviewer: Can you tell me what made you reply to our SEEK advertisement?

Jonah: Well, I was looking for an opportunity to gain a qualification while working full time and I think that I'd be really good at this kind of work.

Interviewer: Do you know exactly what you would be doing as a trainee in the warehouse?

Jonah: Well I imagine I would be picking and packing orders, helping with loading and unloading trucks, using RF scanners and learning about dispatch as well.

Interviewer: That about covers it, you would also be learning about the products and how they are used. Now, you have just finished school, did you have a favourite subject? What did you enjoy studying while you were at school?

Jonah: I suppose I most enjoyed my Woodwork and HPE classes.

Interviewer: Do you have any previous work experience?

Jonah: Yes. I worked casually at KFC on weekends and on school holidays.

Interviewer: Great, do you have any questions you'd like to ask me about the position?

Jonah: Yes. Could you tell me what hours I'd have to work?

Interviewer: Our warehouse staff are expected to start at 7:30am and work until 4:00pm Monday to Friday. Is there anything else you wanted to know about the role?

Jonah: No thank you, I think that covers everything. When will I know if I have been successful?

Interviewer: We'll be making our decision next Monday, we'll give you a call. Thanks for meeting with me today.
