Spring is finally here! And what better way to celebrate than bringing some mates or family together for some backyard fun (don’t forget COVID Safe practices)!
Quoits is a great game for the backyard, beach, social events, family fun, or BBQ with friends. The game aims to toss the rings underarm over the pegs to win points. Each peg has a different number of points attached to the base and the first player to reach 500 points is the winner!
Jenga blocks will keep you entertained for hours. You start with a “Tower” of blocks, then you carefully pull a wood block out of the tower and place it on top. It is easy at first, but as more blocks get pulled, the tower starts to get unsteady. The result will leave you in stitches on the floor laughing. Trust us!
Croquet can be played by two, four, or six players and is the ultimate picnic game. The object of the game is to hit your ball through the course of six hoops in the right sequence in each direction and finish by hitting them against the centre peg. The side which completes the course first with both balls wins.
Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are “singles” and “doubles”. A great alternative to tennis when it comes to outdoor lawn games but just as hard for some of us!!
